Church Weekend

Since 2020 the church has booked Sizewell Hall on the Suffolk coast for a weekend (Friday evenings to Sunday lunchtime) for a time of fellowship and learning in Mid October.

Church Family Quiz

A Child and Adult Friendly quiz with several teams of three or four gathering on Zoom for a night of brain-teasing.

Sunday Worship - Tea and coffee

Talking to each other, praying for each other, sharing the joys, sorrows and challenges of life, is very important, both before the Sunday morning service and afterwards, when refreshments are served. Someone recently said that “You can be you, without having to pretend to be churchy”. In the Coronavirus era we do this in break-out groups before and after the service, and inside/outside the church building from 23rd May

Church Lunch

Most months there is a bring and share lunch in the Family Centre after our morning service where we enjoy the culinary diversity you would expect in a culturally diverse community. In the summer months we sometimes move to Cherry Hinton Hall for a bring your own picnic. These re-started in April 2021 after being closed for the pandemic.

Tear Fund Quiz

Both in the main church building (with Drinks and Nibbles provided) and available on Zoom. At the same time as hundreds of churches across the UK. No booking required. Financial donations go to tackling world poverty

Sharing Garden Tea

Once a month in the summer months we meet for tea in either the Church Garden or the Manse garden on a Sunday afternoon 4-6pm

Board Games Social

Either bring a board game and be prepared to teach it or come along and play a game someone else has brought. Approximately monthly on a Sunday from 12:30 -2pm. All ages are welcome but children need to be supervised.

Young People Socials

3 or more times a year there are social events for Secondary school aged young people in the church family. Ice Skating, Bowling, Baking .....

World Cup Football

Those following the Football World Cup are encouraged to make informal arrangements to watch England matches with others in various homes (including the manse)
