Maintenance

  • We put a % of income into a Maintenance fund which funds work on the church building and the Family Centre.  This can be supplemented by general funds and special maintenance donations at the discretion of the church members meeting. 
  • We have “Property Notices” in the Family Centre Kitchen and next to the Church kitchen door where church members are encouraged to describe things that need attention.  We periodically commission an architect to assess jobs which need doing. 
  • We have a Maintenance Group (Coordinator, Deacon and others) who prioritise work and then get the work done either themselves or by contracting tradespeople, liaising with groups most affected, and, depending on the value of the work, liaising with the Deaconate and Church Members meeting.
