In case of a Medical Emergency or Suspected Heart Attack CALL 999 IMMEDIATELY. The call handler may ask you to fetch the nearest Defibrillator which is located at: TALBOT HOUSE FISHER’S LANE, CHERRY HINTON, CAMBRIDGE, CB1 9JQ
Directions: At the top of the Family Centre drive turn right into Fishers Lane, walk down to Wenvoe Close on the left, Defibrillator is located on the wall on the left hand side at the end of Talbot House.
The Call Handler will give you the code to access the defibrillator. Write the code down and keep code to replace the Defibrillator. If you go to fetch the Defibrillator before phoning 999 then you will need to phone 999 to get the code.
999 call handler will instruct you on if and how to use the Defibrillator The Defibrillator itself will also instruct you on how to use it safely.
There is also a Defibrillator in the Emergency room at Cherry Hinton Medical Centre on the right-hand side of Fishers Lane and Medically trained staff if needing additional help. Week day times only.
