Cherry Hinton Baptist Church

We believe in a God who is generous and forgiving, loving and faithful, who creates and heals and who brings justice and truth, hope, peace and joy. While God is ever present, known in our own experience and through the Bible, it is in the death and resurrection of Jesus that this nature of God is most clearly revealed.

We seek to enable people to encounter the presence of God and to grow as He intends. We meet on Sunday mornings and in small groups for prayer, bible study and sharing of joys, sorrows and challenges. We provide local community activities.  We seek to be Authentic, relational, inclusive, supportive, generous, inspiring and challenging.

Our community activities include a parent and toddler group, a youth group, a senior citizens group, a church cafe, a community choir, a Refugee Aid Hub, a House for the previously Homeless,  and our summer holiday bible club for primary school children.   We seek to do these taking seriously our commitment to be both an Eco and Fairtrade church; and giving more than 10% of our income to support the poorest across the world.  

In addition to our main church building on the North Side of Fishers Lane we have a Church Hall (Family Centre) opposite down a driveway with a car park for 7 cars. Two rooms (7.2x8.3m & 4.1x6.4m) each with access to the kitchen and wifi are available for hire at £13.50 & £8.00/hr.  Please note that we don’t accept term time parties.
