Daily Bible Verses

Clap your hands, all you nations;
shout to God with cries of joy.
For the LORD Most High is awesome,

Awe is the sensation of being completely overwhelmed, by the sheer magnitude and magnificence of something or someone that we turn our attention towards, so give us grace today to pay attention today in such a way that we glimpse something of your glory.

Listen to my prayer, O God, do not ignore my plea;

Lord, help me to be realistic about the difficulties I face and be determined to focus on your love, power, and faithfulness.

Sometimes we have to push through to joy in the Lord. We often see this in the Psalms. The psalm begins with the psalmist crying out to God for help amid a life-threatening…
