Holy Spirit, please make me aware when I am feeding my mind with anything unhelpful. I choose to focus on what is noble, right, pure, and lovely.

We have choices about what fills our mind. Our culture often encourages a toxic diet of all that is wrong in the world – a diet that weakens our ability to rejoice. We are not to ignore the enemy’s work of robbery, death, and destruction – but neither are we to feed on it. The pure diet Paul describes will help us rejoice.
