The Church Family Group Chat is for mutual support.
The Church Prayer Request group is for receiving prayer requests (send prayer requests via email/text to a deacon).
The Any Questions Group Chat is for theological questions arising from the morning service.
After attending our Sunday services 5 times, people are invited to join any of the above groups. After six months of not attending our Sunday services people are invited to leave these groups.
Various other Group chats enable those responsible for various things in the church to facilitate admin: Deacons, Finance, Safeguarding, Maintenance, Justice, Family Centre (booking, open/close, housekeeping), Church heating, Breaking Bread, Music Group, Community choir, Youth Group, Holiday club (registration, group leaders).
Membership of some groups (Deacons, Finance and Safeguarding) are directly appointed by the Church Members Meeting. Volunteers to help run other church activities are welcomed and after an appropriate and successful trial period volunteers then join the group.
There is a church family email (not a group chat!) for receiving information about church activities. After attending our Sunday services 1-3 times, people are invited to be added to the church family emailing list. After six months of not attending our Sunday services people are invited to remove themselves from the emailing list.
