Romans 4v9-11
Book
Romans
Chapter
4
Start Verse
9
End Verse
11
Give us grace to be true to our baptism, that we may be immersed in you and trust in you today (just as the descendants of Abraham should be true to their circumcision and trust in you today)
9Is this blessing then pronounced on the circumcised, or on the uncircumcised also?
For we are saying that faith was accounted to Abraham towards righteousness.
10In what way then was it accounted?
When he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision?
Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.
11He received the sign of circumcision,
a seal of the righteousness of the faith(fulness)
which he had while he was in uncircumcision,
that he might be the father of all the faithful,
through uncircumcision,
that righteousness might also be accounted to them.
